Tour thanks…

We have not long been back from tour and we just wanted to type a huge thank you to everyone who came to one of the shows, helped us out on the tour, and all the promoters for putting us on.

We didn’t really know what to expect from the tour to be honest, but we had an amazing time, the amount of people who came to the shows was a little overwhelming and we can’t wait to hit the road again! We can’t say thank you to everyone enough for the support we had at these shows, this was our first headline tour so it was great to see you all at the venues.

These were our first shows with our new guitarist Dan Murtagh who would we would like to welcome into the band, he played our first shows with us on this tour so thank you to everyone who made him feel so welcome.

We had the honour of sharing the stage with some awesome bands including: Nexilva, The Ascension of Isaiah, Cities On Fire, The Catharsis, Here Lies A Warning, Cleanse The Hive, Triquetra, Kamehameha, Monaco, Above The Open Sky, Vultures, Endeavour, Isolated, The Elijah, Hang The Bastard, Silent Screams, Azriel, Heart In Hand and all of the other bands at Crash Doubt Fest! We have some more tours to announce VERY soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Whilst we were on the road we took out Ben Crocker from BC Films to film the whole thing. A new music video for a re recorded version of “Le Corps” will be out soon along with a pretty crazy tour diary.

Currently, we are well in to writing our first full length which we have been writing for the past few weeks and it’s sounding tasty, we will be releasing some new song clips very soon aswell!

Once again, thank you to those of you who came out, thanks to everyone who bought merch, thanks to Ben for filming the tour, thanks to Sweets (Robbie) for driving us around and thanks to the promoters for putting us on and for your hospitality.

Statement.

We were going to leave this and not write anything huge on the matter, but it’s that time now where we need to shout.

You all know by now that yes, we did kick Paul out of Fall Against Fate. This wasn’t an easy choice to make at all, it had NOTHING to do with his new band, Fearing Farewell what so ever, if it was, do you not think we would have done it months ago when they blew up? or when he first joined his new band months ago? We fully support new music and there are other people in the band who do other musical related things, we fully supported Paul in his new project. 

We were unhappy in the band, unmotivated for various reasons, and it was either make this choice or call it a day for us. We are sorry that many of you do not agree with the choice that we have made. We understand to some of you at may seem like a spiteful thing, but we are a band that play music for fun, not money or “getting big” we are fully aware that as band, we are not even “well known”. This band is not about statistics.

We are sick of seeing pathetic people who supported us no more than 4 days ago, dig at us and accuse us of things we have no clue about. 

We do this to have fun and play music, we make NO money out of what we do at all. Some of us work part time jobs in order to put money into this band, without these jobs we could not do things such as record music videos, buy merchandise, get from show to show and record our music for you to hear. It’s about us having fun as friends, and that’s something that was not happening.

In regards to the youtube thing, none of us have a clue what has gone on, we were all elsewhere when the comments in question were posted, we do not know anybody that has made these so called “fake accounts” and we have not asked anyone to do so but if it was you, please stop, we are trying to be as professional as possible about all of this. We apologies to both Paul and Fearing Farewell for the comments made by that account.

In regards to those of you saying we have blocked you or your comments on our page, no, we really haven’t, this is a print screen of our block list, check it out:

Some comments on our page made by people, EVEN positive comments, were blocked as spam by facebook, this has happened on our account before, every single time we’ve seen this happen, we have un hidden the comments no matter what they are, If we were going to delete your comments, do you really think half of them would still be up there now? 

In amongst all this negativity 

though, there has been many positive comments and messages which would be rude not to acknowledge, so, for those of you who have done so, we can’t thank you enough, it really does mean a lot to us at this time.

For those of you who do not agree with what we have done, we can only apologies, and if you chose to unlike our page, then we respect that, it really doesn’t bother us.

We have some cool things coming up which we will announce soon, including new music. All plans including our Northern tour (which starts on the 27th of this month) are 100% going ahead.

NEWS - COMIC BOOK

Today, we are so excited that we are finally able to announce something that we’ve been working on for quite some time now. In the next few months you will see us release our first and very own / original comic book!

For the past 4 months we have been working with the comic book artist James Finnigan on transferring something that we’ve had in our minds onto paper. James has worked for some huge names including DC Comics & 2000AD, he has also created regular artwork for comic books such as Captain America, Iron Man, The Fantastic 4 and many more, aswell as working on T Shirt designs for Topman over the years. We are so lucky to be working with him and so far he is doing an incredible job.

The comic book follows us on an adventure to get to one of our shows. We wake in a dungeon full of old rock stars being tortured - We break out and have to make through the creature infested streets in order to get to our show, facing various obstacles / set back along the way.

This comic book will be published and printed, then it will be on sale in limited quantities to you guys aswell as in a few comic book stores in and around London.

We can’t wait to release this for all of you guys to read and see, we are seriously excited. We will keep you updated throughout the process. So far, we can show you a preview of the final pencil sketches of the comic (bare in mind, these are PENCIL sketches NOT the final inked up pages)
